A nice shot showing the marriage of the crate, window and lath strips
Closer. The lath strips fit perfectly into the inner bevelled edge of the window
Pile of reno junk that would typically go to the dump. Not on my watch!
Removing thos pesky, sharp little holders!
They are so so so tiny! So easy to cut yourself so be careful. But they must come out to get everything to fit properly
Not our place, but shows the birthing place of a lot of wood love!
Such a dirty job! Given the age though - it came off pretty easily with a chisel and a littlel love tap.
Shot from afar
Close up of the finish on the crate. A weeee bit rub off for a smidge of aging.

I love reusing anything I can get my hands on and we have a LOT of this laying around! A keen eye and a little elbow grease and you are off to the races! A fun project to undertake and now, lots of storage for those blankets and pillows for the couch!
