Washboard OrganizerJanuary 27th, 2015 in member junk
I had seen people using the knobs for coat hooks and other things, and quickly got to thinking about how they were screwing or connecting them to their wood. I saw a blog on using resin to fill the holes, but I don't have any resin and generally like to work with what I do have. I have dowlings and bamboo and E6000 though! So I cut a piece off, put it in the doorknob holes and secured it in place with E6000. Once it was dry, Then simply drilled down through the washboard.
I also added the pulls on the sides for esthetics because ........ well, I don't know if there is ever a useful for reason for esthetics aside from being cuter? HA!
A fun piece that was out the door the door the second I posted it for sale and now looking pretty cute in it's new home!
